EVAN STROUSE is a music teacher for grades 3, 4, and 5 at the Dexter-Southfield School in Brookline, Massachusetts. He holds a B.A. in Music Studies and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College, where he was a Presidential Scholar and principal cellist for the orchestra. Evan will be returning to Music Adventure as a counselor for his fourth summer. Evan has worked in both Montessori and public school settings, led after-school programming, and designed music camps in Spain for children and teens. He has performed as a cellist in Japan and Spain, and is also the lead singer for a pop-rock band. Evan is fluent in Spanish and completed an honors thesis on music education in central Spain.
